I’m a writer, a political junkie and, whenever possible, a smart ass.
In my career, I’ve been a music critic, a radio announcer and a voiceover actor but most of my working life has been spent as a writer and Creative Director in the advertising industry. In that role, my clients have ranged from American Express to the Rolling Stones. Because I worked with people who are smarter than I am, I’ve shared in more than 200 advertising awards in the US, the UK and Canada.
I’ve lived in a bunch of different places and been fortunate enough to travel to even more. Currently I make my home in Knoxville, Tennessee.
I’ve been deeply in love with my wife for 30 years. Coincidentally, that’s how long I’ve known her.
We love real estate and home renovating, music from Bob Dylan to opera, hockey, SEC football. In our home, you will always find cats and books.
